As a graduate of the International Academy of Massage, 2012, Mike began his career as a Registered Massage Therapist after taking an interest in the human body’s ability to respond to various forms of therapies.
Mike takes an individual approach to treatment, assessing each client’s needs and incorporating different techniques to facilitate their unique recovery. In his experience treating clients for sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, repetitive strain injuries and prenatal care, Mike has found many benefits to utilizing multiple techniques throughout treatment in order to help his clients receive the most benefit from each massage therapy session.
Through working in multidisciplinary clinics, Mike has gained a thorough understanding of the body’s response to treatment and ability to be healed through therapy. He has developed a deep respect for the partnership between therapist and client as it’s through working together towards the client’s recovery goals that the optimal results are achieved.
